bcassie, who gifted me with LJ time. I assume this was related to her getting a perm account. I sadly do not have the money to put down on one of those m'self, so the donation is doubly appreciated. =)
On the topic of money, thanks to the evil evilbyrne I spent last night twitching and drooling over sewing machines on Ebay. I don't know why my brain didn't previously think of getting a cheap machine to try out over there. I suppose this is my blondness in action.
Anyway, I twitched and drooled but was a good girl and did not buy yet. Okay, granted, I put a bid in on one but I stuck to a maximum that I was comfortable with and did not go over it! Not even when I got outbid by 50 cents and probably could've swooped in at the last second and paid an extra dollar, but I didn't! Willpower! Ha! (Okay also the shipping was more than I anticipated but shh!)
I've been poking at the ol' website with the vague concept that maybe this weekend I'll get around to finally updating it to... well, everything but specifically the new design and layout at the very least. You know, if you ever need to humble yourself there ain't nothing that's going to do that faster than reading some of your old writing. Granted I've always felt my writing is a work in progress and I hope it shall always be, but even still, yipes. We'll just pretend I posted rough drafts by accident, right? Right. ;)
