Feels like a Monday
May. 28th, 2002 01:41 pmThe weekend went well. Mer came up for the night so we chatted and were generally lazy.
Watched QAF. Boy is that a fun thing to watch when you're fine with poly. Mer and I were both sitting there the whole time going "Threesome. Threesome. You like the two of them, the two of them like you, the two of them like each other - we've got all the votes we need!" I admit to enjoying the ending.
On the whole the weekend was good. Lazy, but satisfying. Things are progressing well with the apt. The electrician will be finishing up tomorrow and I'll be looking at paint colors. Saturday will be shopping for floors.
I'll also finally make a trip to the DMV to get my lisence updated now that I'll finally have a freaking perm. address!
Still mulling over multiple plot bunnies. In an odd way though it's nice to have the summer hiatus to play with. More time for writing plus no worries about getting Jossed.
In other news, if my co-worker doesn't realize that when she is standing in the doorway and I am on the far side of the room behind desks and computers and chairs that she is the one who's actually close to the ringing telephone, I'm taking a hostage. You'd think the fact that if nothing else I'd have to go through her to get to it would be a clue.
