Msc. Morning thoughts

thebratqueenAh, Buffy last night. No, I won't post spoilers here but God was it nice seeing Xander in scenes without Anya. Don't get me wrong - nothing against the vengence demon, but I am so sick of romantic storylines sucking the life out of otherwise good characters. Xander went from cool guy to "Hi, I will now only say lines that in someway relate to Anya." Likewise that Angel/Cordy crap they shoved down our throats on AtS - but I'll save that rant for Connexions.
Morning breakfast was over a repeat of Buffy's season 2 finale. Ah, the wonderful angst of sending Angel to Hell. Actually my breakfast of late has been over Lois & Clark, since I don't care much for Buffy season 5 reruns. I have to give props to those actors for being able to go through those scripts seriously. But oh is it interesting to watch that show in the light of the slash and angst fest that is Smallville.
Did a double watch of Smallville and 24 last night, thanks to the power of the remote control. 24 didn't feel as solid as it normally does, but gotta love Kiefer. Spawn of Kiefer must die, I'm convinced of it. She can get hit by the same bus that kills Fred on Angel. And Smallville - awh! Lex and Clark had a tiff. But you know the makeup sex is gonna be good.
