Proof I am insane (as though you need it)

thebratqueen1. I enjoy paying bills.
Okay, granted, not in the "get them paid the minute the enter the house" kind of way because I'm still stuck in my old mindset of "put them aside and pretend they're not there until you can scrape enough money together to at least meet the minimum this month" but once I do pay them it's so nice now to be able to do that, not have to juggle what bill gets paid what week, and still have a little cash leftover (yay raise!). Now if only I could convince myself not to procrastinate about it because it's really stupid to earn late charges when you don't have to.
2. I am attempting to learn quilting.

zortified who is most generous and nifty, I may finally be attempting to learn how to quilt. James swears this is possible, even for a weirdo like me. We'll see if she's fibbing or not but still, I'm looking forward to it. I've had a quilting jones for a while now but whenever I try to learn there seems to be a list of five thousand supplies you need in order to do it right and about fifty mathematical equations to go along with each step (which, as I said in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
craftyslashers isn't a problem for me b/c I have no math fear, but it is a problem for me in that I don't do math for fun either). But James swears it's possible to do it with no math and minimal tools and I am choosing to trust her.

In other news the day is beautiful, the cats are adorable, and I need to go to work.
