In other news I tentatively poke my head out of the cave - and doesn't that sound dirty? - and look 'round to see my shadow as far as whether or not I'm ready to sound the all clear. Personally I think it's too soon, though I do at least feel a bit better than I did yesterday. Mind you, this could also be due to me thinking "You know what would help? Elf vodka." but any port in a storm, right? ;)
Primal scream/rant/possible bemusement at beaurocracy continues into Day 2. May or may not post details later depending upon whether or not I'm into more of the latter than the former.
Erm... good news, good news - oh! It's fall. Fall is good. My fav season, in fact. I shall now command the trees to turn pretty colors. [clapclap]

Dearnot_god: Oh NotHeavenly Father, I wish to thank thee for the blessed creation of thy holy cable modem, which continues to work on my computer tonight in spite of earlier efforts to the contrary.
I also wish to thank thee for the blessing of LiveJournal, on which information can be shared quickly and efficiently. It is thanks to the blessing of LiveJournal that I have been able to make many friends who, too, have Holy cable modems and the desire to talk about the true joys and raptures that can be found therein, specifically joys of, say, things one might download which may or may not be legal by strict definitions of mere earth laws but, I am sure, are more than approved of by you, a much higher authority.
Accordingly I shall be sacrificing many Hebrew National hotdogs in thy honor, and with your leave I shall also add mustard and relish, but not chili with cheese for I know my most Holy Not_God is ironically lactose intolerant and I have no wish to cause volcanos to erupt again, particularly as it's been a strange enough year already.
