Yipe!

Apparently not_god is pissed off again. Verily the heavens are raining down with, well, rain and stuff. I'm not saying it's overly wet outside but I just saw a blue whale go by and I'm on the second floor. Also there was this guy who just called to ask me how many feet in a cubit. You draw your own conclusions.

Why am I at work? No clue.

New computer is definitely on the horizon for me, with thanks to those who offered suggestions and advice about whether I should buy and, if buying, what. I think things are settled enough that I can at least take my time about deciding what model to get, but to be honest I've also been thinking about this for a while so I can't imagine this is going to be too difficult to do. Figure I'll deal with it in maybe a week or so.

In the meanwhile I'm trying to very patiently explain to Epiphany plot bunnies that much though it would be nice to write the show from the comfort of my own home, in actual fact I don't so could they please rewrite themselves into something that will lend itself a bit more easily to a written medium? So far the bunnies remain unconvinced.

Now then, who's up for giving me chocolate? 8)

Okay, so yours truly has had, other than the nifty rainstorm, an absolutely horrible and downright no-good day for reasons that, suffice it to say, I'd rather not get into right now but I reserve the right to primal scream about them later.

I put it to you, then, the readers at home - pleasepleasepleasePLEASE write something nice for me? Doesn't have to be huge. Tiny drabbles will suffice. I'm thinking schmoop. I'm thinking hurt/comfort. I'm thinking Wes/Angel though judges would allow Wes/Faith if that was your pleasure. Any rating, any season - heck AU it if it makes your heart happy.

Pretty please with a happier me on top? 8)

Calling all computer geeks

Does anybody out there have a recommendation for a good online backup site? The place I currently use is giving me problems.

Going ever further into debt...

Well it's done. New computer has been purchased. Should be on its way in about a week, which is plenty of time to get the online backup thing sorted out (I hope).

I also found out that somebody else who got one of the leftover school computers has been having similar problems with it in the past few weeks. Makes me feel a little better. I think this is basically the natural offshoot of A) trusting the tech guy who IMO seemed a little too fond of patched-together solutions and B) using computers that, by definition, were broken in by extremely computer illiterate people.

So hey - new computer! Huzzah!
