Rally to Restore Sanity

So it looks like I'll be able to head down to DC for the rally *knocks wood* I'm trying to book train tickets so, related to that - who's going? When will you be around? I'm plannning to arrive Friday and leave Sunday, but the time of arrival/departure hasn't been narrowed down yet. I figure no need to kill myself getting there early if nobody's going to be around. Alternatively I'll def. make sure to get there early if there's going to be an afternoon meetup of some kind.

So... lemme know? :D

I'm going to the rally! (And I live local :) ) I'm suggesting that the fangirls meet up in front of the Castle to go together.

The Castle is part of the Smithsonian, right there on the Mall. When you get off the metro at the Smithsonian station, there's a map at the head of the escalator that will tell you exactly where it is! And it's conveniently located between the Smithsonian stop and the rally :)

That's still being negotiated, but it looks like 9 AM is currently in the running. That would give us time to find each other and pick a spot on the mall to settle. (You can bring folding chairs and such to sit, so we don't have to stand all day).

Gotcha. Though that meetup time scares me in terms of what it says about the potential crowd size.

Oh, yeah. Though part of that is DC'ers being nervous about how crowded it can get on the metro and at the Mall for any rally.

I'll be going! I'm staying with a local friend in the Virginia suburbs. We haven't made a full set of plans for the weekend yet, but I'd love a meet up.
