thebratqueenSpent most of my day out fighting weeds instead of doing something useful, like napping. Which is to say I'm fairly brain-dead at the moment, but I still bring you links.

Now you may think that the fan who got a hug from Milo at the Heroes panel would be the winner so far in the "most awesome fannish moment at ComicCon" contest. You would be oh so wonderfully wrong.
Amnesty International is advocating an International Violence Against Women Act. By which we mean stopping the violence against women, er, obviously. Anyway, there's some links there if you'd like to know how you can help support it.
If you're looking to have a theme wedding Offbeat Bride has a photographer recommendation. But really I'm linking to that post because THE CAKE IS MADE OF SO MUCH WIN!! (With Ewok cupcakes on the side!!! DUDE!)
Did you know that there was a whole field dedicated to making art out of hair? I did not, but Curious Expeditions has a writeup, complete with how it went hand in hand with the creation of mourning customs, all of which goes back to Queen Victoria.
If anyone in the city is finding these Sterling Cooper business cards I would love to have one.
