The weather's been cool so packing has been a priority. (Hmm - how could I have put more p's into that sentence?)

I've also been boning up on my job interview skills. It keeps me from going crazy with stress.

Apologies to those I've been slow in emailing too. I've just been busy playing catch up. RL stuff has started to pile up. In an ideal universe I'll be moving soon. [fingers crossed]

A wee plot bunny has appeared in my head. I blame a reread of my Learn By Example - Mary Sue essay for this. It's gotten me thinking about fantasy short stories and the Ye Olde Classic "One's a fighter, the other's a mage/scholar/healer" pairing, and when you've got a weird-ass idea about Watchers and Slayers that would require an AU that covers time, location, backstory and two personality overhauls why not just admit it bears no resemblance to the original fandom, slap some new names on it and ride the idea for what it's worth? (What's that publishing house that takes retrofitted fanfic again...?)
