thebratqueenSo as some of you know my dad is working on a book. He's at a stage now where he could use beta readers, and we have determined that I am too close to the material to be of any use. (Also he needs a basic spelling/grammar check and we all know I suck at those)
Might any of you out there be interested in betaing for him? It's non-fiction, but it's in the form of anecdotes so it reads like stories. Also the stories are fairly wee. In total I believe it's about 50,000 words but because of the format this can easily be chopped up and sent out to multiple beta readers in pieces.
Spelling/grammar is a key one. Anything above and beyond that is also helpful and appreciated, but that's the baseline.
