Baracking the vote
Feb. 5th, 2008 10:00 amSo yesterday I basically cried myself into a migraine. Which is why today I'm staying home from work. And I cannot begin to count the ways that I love my new job, and how it is so wonderful and supportive about things like this.
In spite of the headache though I did something very important which is VOTE. I know not all of you have primaries in your town today, but it is Super Tuesday so a good chunk of you do. Whoever you're voting for it's important to make your voice heard. So if I can get out there with what feels like an ice pick in my left eye and mark down who I believe in, so can you.
"Decisions are made by those who show up." - Pres. Bartlett, West Wing.
"We know the battle ahead will be long. But always remember that, no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change." - Barack Obama
