thebratqueenSo today I got my Robin Sparkles on and went to the mall. I need more fall-appropriate clothes for work. After hitting many stores, I was able to come away with a couple of skirts and a couple of shirts, wihch was about what I was hoping to get. My goal was not to get my entire fall wardrobe, just a couple of mix and matchable pieces that could get things started.
May I just say though: OH MY GOD COLOR WILL NOT KILL YOU. Grey and black were EVERYWHERE. GAH!
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with grey and black in and of themselves. I'd just like to have items in my wardrobe that allow me to do something other than imitate a shadow.
Mind you part of this may have been due to me being on the prowl when stores were apparently in the weird in-between stage of kicking out the summer stuff and only just getting in the fall stuff. OTOH one of the saleswomen I talked to said that grey and black are very in this year, and that the few items of color that her store did have were going to be going away soon in favor of more grey and black items.
*facepalm*
Apparently the well-dressed ninja is in this year.
