Food for older cats?
Apr. 27th, 2007 02:15 pmMy older brother has, appropriately enough I suppose, an older cat. I don't know offhand how old the kitty is but I catsitted for this guy back before I was in college so we're talking 10+ years here.
Older Brother wants to know if there's any food out there specifically geared towards the eating needs of older cats. More specifically, not just in terms of what they should eat but in what they can eat. For instance right now Older Cat gets cans of Fancy Feast but mostly licks up the gravy.
So is there any food out there made for older cats to easily eat? I'm assuming somebody somewhere has created this, but since I've never had to feed an older cat I don't have any experience with it. Maybe one of you (or a friend) has personal testimony?
Thanks in advance!
