It is, I freely admit, just a little geeky that I refer to the thick wooden spoon that I use when making proper oatmeal as a spurtle.

However I think today I kicked that up a notch by starting to refer to it as my teenage mutant ninja spurtle.

There may have also been humming of the theme song and doing a little dance.
