At least it's overcast?

thebratqueenStill not cold. It is a bit overcast however so if I stay indoors I can pretend that it's seasonally appropriate weather outside.
I am alone at the office as my boss is away for three whole days. Tomorrow I shall even have the day off! I shall use it to wrap gifts and get a haircut.
I've done all the pre-Xmas gift shopping that I need to do. There are only two gifts left to get and I'm not going to see those relatives for a while so it's not a rush.
This weekend saw me doing major housecleaning, then having tea and proper scones with the folks who came over to see my Xmas decorations. The scone recipe was a new one and it turned out quite nice IMO.
Still working on the menu for Xmas dinner. My brother decided he wanted us to do all new stuff this year, so I'm figuring out a menu from scratch. The upside is that for the first time in a while I have both days before Xmas off, so that'll be a huge help with the cooking.

cin1607 called me and we got to chat for hours and hours which was a very nice way to spend a morning indeed.
And that's about it. =)
