Isn't it supposed to be hotter outside?

After watching the temp. in my bedroom climb and climb I finally gave up and camped out at my co-op with an air matress. I was holding off on doing that b/c I didn't want to leave the cat alone in the hot apt (the co-op isn't safe yet for cats what with all the exposed nails and all in the floor) but he was fine while I was clearly starting to flirt with some kind of heat-induced illness. Figuring that a dead owner wasn't going to be that great for my cat either, I left for the night.

It wasn't bad. The air mattress kept going soft every hour or so but amazingly I was able to deal with waking up, hitting the button to refill it and going back to sleep for another hour. I wouldn't want to do this forever and if I camp out perm. until the move I'll probably haul a real mattress over to the apt myself but it worked in a pinch.

Just one more day of this. One more day of this, then a dealable weekend. I can survive.
