It's all about the political statement
Jul. 1st, 2002 01:57 pmSorry I was invisible girl yesterday. I went into the city to see
stakebait so there was no net access. But there was the NYC Pride Parade which was much fun. We watched it right by Washington Square park.
Gotta admit, the fun thing about pride events is all the eye candy, as evidenced by this conversation between me and Mer:
[Hot, half-naked boys and girls walk by]
TBQ: Woo! Hellooooo Nurse!
Mer: WOOO! Um - I mean it's all about the political statement.
TBQ: Oh yeah, of course. WOOOOO!!
Did not stay around long enough to cheer for PFLAG because after about 3 hours I was hot and tired. OTOH we did stay around long enough for the QAF float. Lindsey, Melanie, Ben and [TBQ prepares for
catscradle to plotz] Emmett were there. And can I just say? They all look hot in person.
Okay, I'd write more but I hear there's this RPG I've gotta catch up on. Don't mind me.
