Oh sweet LJ how I've missed you

Not to jinx it or anything but it looks like the power crisis has been averted. The local electric company was able to restore power to downtown (in spite of not one but two fires that happened during the process) and the temperatures dropped about 20 degrees (yes, I do have a headache, thanks for asking) so the system isn't as strained as once it was.

If the big storm came in I slept through it. But I suspect that it didn't which is a weird quirk of wind and weather. Ah well.

Today at 4pm I have a doctor's appointment. To say I am hugely nervous about this one is like saying it was a weetiny bit warm this past week.
