There's a certain humor to seeing the temperature rise two degrees in the time it takes you to read an article about how hot it is lately.

My boss bought me a fresh-baked donut. This is a good thing. Sadly I had no fudge to dip it in, but one suffers as one must.

I won't spoil the last episode of Deadwood now that I've seen it, but I will say it needed more problems solved by people stripping down and wrestling naked in oil.

Head? Hurts. Overall health? A smidge better than yesterday, but still touch and go. Friday can come any day now, really.
