Hot Cross Buns!

Okay, for the record it absolutely sucks to be dealing with nausea as a side effect... well, at all really, but especially during the holidays. There was so much good food to be had and I could only stomach weetiny bits of it. Wah! I demand a redo! Or I will once I have more energy b/c did I mention that I feel sick to my stomach? Yeah. That.

On the upside, the hot cross buns came out nicely if I do say so myself. I was also a good girl and took pictures.

	The dough as of this morning. I mixed it together last night and let it rise in the fridge. Contrary to appearances those aren't chocolate chips but raisins.
	The dough was then punched down, separated out into sixteen pieces, rolled into bun shapes and scored with Xs. It then rose for another 45 minutes.
	Fresh from the oven! You can see they already have the icing which was a pre-baking step that I didn't stop to take a picture of.
	cin1607 was kind enough to send me an Easter basket, and I realized that it would make ideal transport for the buns. So I lined it with a tea towel and placed the buns inside.
	One more tea towel on top to hold in the warmth, plus a couple of stuffies from Cin's gift, and we're ready to go!
