Okay, picture me looking my most winsome and adorable. Got that firmly fixed in your head?
Good. =)
My dad needs beta readers.
Making a long story short, Dad's going to put a blog together that may at some point get expanded into a book. He's still deciding on the book thing, but in the meanwhile he does want a blog that's going to look as polished and professional as possible. (Unlike his dear daughter's, which sets new records for mistakes in spelling and grammar in a single word.)
So Pop could use some beta-readers who can come through entries for things like spelling, grammar, does it make sense, is it interesting, etc.
He's totally fine for working with more than one person, so if all you can do is spelling but not "does it work?" that's fine, and if all you can do is vice versa that's also fine.
Entries would be fairly short (about a page or so in Word). They'd be essays on management style where the idea is he cites an example from his personal experience then talks about the lesson learned from that example.
You don't have to know anything about business or management in order to help. The only qualificiations needed are good beta skills of some kind.
We're still working out the logistics on how betaing would be done so for right now I'm only collecting names of volunteers. So even if you don't have an LJ a comment with your email address would be perfectly fine.
So... anyone interested in helping my fabulous, wonderful, I wouldn't be me without him Daddy out? =)
*looks cute*
