The Ren Fair is definitely, absolutely, positively out of the running for this weekend. Which is actually not that bad since it gives me more time to do things that were going to be jam packed into today. No clue on when I'll be able to go, but it's going on for about another month so in theory getting there will not be a problem.

Last night I caught Spinal Tap in the theater thanks to a local place that does cult movies on Friday and Saturday nights. I went with one of the girls from my belly dance class and we did enjoy ourselves. The theater wasn't as crowded as I anticipated, but fortunately everyone who was there was a fan. I tell you, though, no matter how many times I watch it I can't tell if David/Nigel is supposed to be canon.

My sock yarn and needles arrived today. I can't do anything with them besides pet them and then put them away. But once I've cleared some writing deadlines off the to do list and finished the baby sweater I'll reward myself by making the attempt. At which point I'll probably break the needles because they are teeny!
