Knitting, summer Saturday

thebratqueenDad's birthday celebration went all right. The ice cream pie was enjoyed by all and was not a huge gloppy mess of horribleness. Though arguably it's hard to take any form of brownie, ice cream, and caramel and make it inedible. 8)
Today I'm heading down to the farmer's market, then going over to Older Brother's house for a BBQ.
Got my Knitpicks catalogue this week (finally). Naturally now that I'm nearing the home stretch of doing the baby sweater, and with me having a huge yarn stash perfect for hats and sweaters and scarves, and my ultra-cool set of Denise needles which would allow me to knit up any #5 needle and above garment I could ever want... what I really want to try is socks.
