thebratqueenHaven't met the kid yet. My folks are over there now, lucky bastards. I'd really like to meet the kid today because I've never actually met someone who's under a day old before. That I know of. Granted for all I know some babies lie about their age so that they can sneak into baby bars. I'm not up on the culture, it's not for me to say.
I asked the folks to ask if Older Brother and P-sis would be up for visitors after work. My feeling is they'd be way too tired, and if that's the case then fine. But if they're up for it I'm definitely going. I can at least bring over the hat that I knit (sweater? sooooo not done yet). And if they're not up for it, no big whoop, I'll just go to belly dance like originally planned.
Still don't know the kid's name yet. In my head I'm calling him teeny tiny super guy.
Otherwise things here are fairly calm. I made pickles last night. Haven't had a chance to eat them yet, so don't know how they turned out. I used this recipe last year, though, so I know it's fairly solid.
Beyond that I got nothing.
ETA: Oh yeah, this brings the count up to 2 nephews, 3 nieces. I could make my own tiny basketball team!
