thebratqueenLet the painter in for day two of work. They got a lot done yesterday which is great. Ugly kitchen wallpaper is a thing of the past. Almost everything is primed and ready for paint. Bedroom walls are actually finished. Yay!
I am over this heat though. It's at the point now where the temp doesn't even drop down at night - that sucks. My current apt doesn't have A/C so if I don't get a little nighttime cool air my apt stays an oven. If this keeps up I may end up camping out at my new place and only going back to the old apt to pack and get ready for the move. It'll mean being without my TV and my computer for a little while but I can read and do crafts. Or just bring the computer over and use it on the floor. Can you tell which modern invention I have a hard time living without? ;)
Only kicker is that my floors need to be put in too. The painter will be done as of tomorrow afternoon. The flooring guy hasn't even called yet. I'll probably end up calling him later just to take care of that. Once paint and floors are done the place is in move-in condition. I just have to pack and, you know, move.
