thebratqueenBoss is gone, boss is gone, I'm all by myself and boss is GONE! WHEEEEEEEE!!!!
Oh sure, there's the phone to deal with when it rings and mail and such later, but for right now I can sit back, relax, and putter away while wearing comfy clothes. Life is good.
I am now going to jinx myself by saying I have big plans for this time. The boss being away means it takes me so much less time to do my work, thus leaving me free to catch up on other stuff. Won't say what yet as I haven't fully decided, but just knowing the potential is there is wonderful.
Today's plans are simple. I've got NL stuff I need to do, then I need to write something for my parents' wedding anniversary. After that, the day is mine! MINE I tell you! You can't have it! I'm putting time in a bottle and KEEPING IT FOR MYSELF!!!
I may possibly be giddy with this whole boss away for a week thing.
