thebratqueenI made cables! Last night! With knitting! I thought to myself "Self, why not try cables before you go to bed?" And I did! And I made cables! EEEEEE!!!

Brunch today is spinach and chedder cheese quiche with buttermilk biscuits and English Breakfast tea. Y'all are welcome to come join me if you'd like.
In fannish news: if you were going to pimp Firefly to somebody and only had an hour to do it in (so no original pilot, in other words) what episode would you use? Would you go with Train Job and an explanation of why it's the first ep but not really the first ep, or would you pick something else? If so, what?
ETA: See comments for why my instinct is not to use Out of Gas, even though I think it's one of the finest hours on television.
