Over already?
Jun. 9th, 2002 08:09 pmQuick weekend, this. But good. Yesterday was laziness and homemade pizza. Today was church stuff and a BBQ with the folks. My church agreed to become a welcoming congregation today so that was cool. What was slightly annoying was how LONG the whole thing went on. Jeez! Do the pre-reading people!
Got the Angel Casebook today. You know Cordy has been killed as a character when even the guy behind the counter, who didn't sound like much of a fan, told me about an article in USA Today about how CC might not be back and isn't that a good thing? I told him not to get my hopes up.
One thing that frustrates me about the casebook is that, based on my brief look into it, these guys know tons about Angel but not so much about history. Maybe the entry's better later but they imply that Angel met up with Penn in the late 1800s. Um - Puritan? Do we want to rethink that a tad?
Cross your fingers that this week I'll get firm dates from my painter and floor guy about when they'll be coming by to do my apt. I've also started getting boxes for packing. Yay!
In other random news, I've got the bug to learn how to sew again. That keeps coming and going. I won't do anything about it before the move, but maybe after I'll look into it a bit more. It just strikes me that if I *was* ever going to get a machine and teach myself, that there could be a worse time than when I've got a brand-new home that needs curtains and such.
Didn't do any updates for the canon vs fanon list. Didn't have time. Maybe tomorrow.
