A certain movie trailer

thebratqueenAm home. Finally saw the trailer for Serenity.
Non-spoilery comments: Oooh! Shiny!
First: Can I say how much I love that they gave props to the fans in the trailer? That is so cool. They so did not have to do that.
Second: Good trailer! Captured just the right tone of Firefly with enough to both appease those who are fans already and, I think, interest those who haven't seen it yet.
Third: Now granted it's just a trailer but I do believe someone somewhere, possibly someone who looks a great deal like me, once posited the theory that the entire Illyria story arc was a retrofitted version of whatever story arc that Joss had originally intended for River and couldn't do anymore because the show got cancelled and the movies wouldn't let him do the storyline in its full step by step detail. Now I'm not saying I'm right, I'm just saying River was kicking assIllyria Matrix style in the trailer. Allllllll I'm saying.
Fourth: Pretty!
Fifth: Shiny!
Sixth: It would probably be bad to spend money on movie tickets just so I could see audience reaction to watching this trailer, right?
Sixth-A: Do we have confirmation that this is going to be showing with Hitchhiker's Guide?
