Rainy Saturday

thebratqueenYou know, if central casting was to send down the perfect Saturday for resting and relaxing it would send down a day much like today. I slept on and off for about twelve hours (not that I was tired) and during that time we had heavy downpours. It made everything just the right level of cool and gloomy.
It's not raining now, but it's still overcast and if I remember the weather reports from yesterday we're supposed to have rain on and off all day. I can't imagine better weather for sitting and knitting and watching DVDs.
I originally had plans to take a trip up to Trader Joe's, but I realize now I was greatly overestimating my own abilities. Fortunately this wasn't a trip for anything I can't buy later in the week.
So today I rest and relax with a nice cuppa. Ahhh.
