Well, I can't say it's not approrpiate
Feb. 22nd, 2005 07:42 pmSo I'm trying to update things so I can get rid of the old web space and move on to the new one.
Part of this is changing my LJ graphics from the old URL to the new URL, including my custom mood theme.
You would think that this would be an easy matter of going in to the easy-peasy Custom Mood Editor, cutting the old domain and replacing it with the new one.
Oh no. As soon as I hit "save" it decided that somewhere in there I told it to inherit everything from "angry", promptly forgot the 100+ other URLs I gave it, and now I have to start over from scratch. Which, as far as I can figure, means either trusting the Custom Mood Theme maker again (ha!) and doing the work to remember what number goes with what mood (ha!), or going in and hand typing the commands directly into the admin console, just like I did the first time.
On the plus side, I can cut and paste one line of command 100+ times and just change the numbers, but even so! Annoying!
ETA: Saved! Thanks to
miggy and
versaphile, both of whom clearly have better forward-thinking skills than I do. =)
