Ow, but in a good way

thebratqueenAnyone who knows me and my issues will be happy to know that I called in sick to work today. I woke up with a killer migraine that wouldn't go away by 8:30, so I gave up, called in, and crawled back to bed.
I suspect the headache was triggered by emotional exhaustion from the week, as well as other stuff, but either way I called in and did not feel guilty! Go me!
The pain's mostly gone now and Dad called to say that grams is being let out of the hospital, so I'm going to go in with him to help pick her up. Don't know what all this will do to my plans for the weekend so just to be on the safe side if y'all don't hear from me in email or whatnot, that's why.
