thebratqueenSo Elder Brother wants to get into politics. Elder Brother would be scarily good at this, plus he's related to me which means he's not totally evil in the bad way, and thus I want to support him.
Like a doofus I assumed he'd start out by running for mayor or some such.
Nope. Find out today that he "talked to Karl Rove's people" (!!!!) and that he's setting himself up so that in six years he can run against Barbara Boxer (!!!!!!!!). I've also been told that I might be contacted by FBI folk as part of a background check.

I love my brother and he's really not Dubya-evil, I swear but... it'd be really wrong of me to purposefully fuck up the background check, right?
Actually in this climate I think telling them the truth would fuck up the background check. I think what I'm really wondering here is if I should stop not using my real name on all the things that would serve as really good documentation for his opposition.
