Thanks, Santa!

Am back. Christmas festivities were nice. There was some of the to be expected chaos from having an overly hyper four and a half year old running around, but fortunately even that was kept to more or less of a minimum. Plus I discovered that dealing with food in the kitchen is an excellent way to hide from chaos in the rest of the house without feeling guilty 8)
Got a very nice haul o' presents. Particularly of note was Older Brother's gift of a CTU sweatshirt (fans of 24 know what I'm talking about) and a new Palm Pilot (Tungsten E, which is just what I asked for. It's charging up as we speak. Anybody know if it's automatically going to pick up the info from my old Palm when I sync it or do I have to re-enter it from scratch?)
Dinner turned out well. The pork roast with onion gravy was enjoyed by all, as were the desserts of which I made way too much.
lucifrix? Expect to be eating leftovers ;)
Now I'm back home, decompressing, and making the brunch breads for tomorrow. It's funny because I originally thought doing the breads tonight might be stressful, but I'm actually finding it to be a nice way to relax and calm down. I guess it's the joy of kneading bread, plus a cooking process which is fairly laid-back, all things considered.
It also helps that I was able to get home fairly early.
Now I boil eggs, wait for bread to rise, and otherwise lay back and enjoy the rest of my evening.
Hope you and yours had a happy one! =)
