Sunday breakfast, lack of snow, cleaning

thebratqueenYou know what sucks? When you've got a little buttermilk that's about to expire so you have to use it up by making biscuits for breakfast.
Oh, wait, what's the word - not sucks... Rules. Totally rules. =)
So biscuits are cooling, water's about to boil for tea, and it's a lovely day outside if you ignore the fact that it's almost kind of warm. Which means I'm glad I can open up the windows to get the place filled with fresh air but - sheesh! Last year by this time we had a huge snowstorm! Where's the snow? Where's the blizzards? I demand the weather put forth the work effort!
My eyes are better (finally went back to normal around 10 last night, so that's about 8 hours all told). Unfortunately it was too late to get any form of writing done, but I was able to whip together some cheesecake brownies before going to bed.
Today my goals are to do house cleaning, plan Xmas dinner with Mom, hopefully work on Xmas cards and hopefully get some writing done. We'll see how that goes.
