In other news I've been fairly quiet due to this week trying to kill me. The rain's been nice, but the patients at work have been conspiring to drive me insane. Fifteen thousand rounds of "We don't have any appointments until December 21" "Can I get an appointment on Dec 15?" "I'm sorry, no, there are no appointments until Dec 21." "How about on Dec 16th, then? Can I get something on the 16th?" lather, rinse, repeat, will do that to you.

Though nothing tops today, with perhaps the stupidest question EVAH:

Me: I can give you an appointment on December 28
Her: Is that before New Year's?

The conversation only went downhill from there.

But at least the day is done, and I've enough time still to curl up in bed and read before I have to go to sleep. Plus I got my new Italian Cooking and Living magazine. I'm probably a big dork for actually squeaking out loud when it got here, right? Yeah, I thought so.
