Finally, after the whole weekend, sat down to write last night. I got about halfway done before I had to give up and go to bed. I'd like to try to finish it tonight but I also need to menu-plan for Thursday, so we'll see how that goes.
The cornbread made last night was okay, but not great. I used Alton's recipe from his new book. Ironically I found it to be a little dry, so I'm now on the prowl for other cornbread recipes. Suggestions are welcome =)
I don't know if this is the fault of going to bed in the middle of a story or not, but last night I had a Buffy dream where Spike was being approached by the big bad of the season a la Adam in season four. This somehow involved getting his brain hooked up to some machine which saw all of his thoughts. The demon first tried to "help" him by fixing all of Spike's bad memories, which made Spike get very pissed off because he felt those memories made him who he was. Then the demon started to access Spike's memories of Angel, which made Spike very eager to change the subject if you know what I mean, and I think you do.
In other news, death to all leaf blowers.
