According to CNN "A post-election poll indicates most of those surveyed are hopeful the country will be drawn together during President Bush's second term. Just over half -- 51 percent -- said they were pleased with the outcome of the election; 38 percent said they were upset." (emphasis mine)
So... the 51% of the population who voted for Bush are somehow mysteriously pleased with the outcome of the election and think it's a good thing, and 38% of those who didn't are mysteriously being party-pooping holdouts on the "Let's all care and share and forget the part where we fucked you over" Olympics.
CNN doesn't specify, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the remaining 11% are probably still too numb to form words without vomiting.
Me? I've got words, but I've also got to go to work. If time permits during the day expect a big ol' essay from yours truly.
