thebratqueenMy immediate family has a mailing list that we use to keep in touch with one another. Today my Older Brother sends out an email wherein he talks about how he's just discovered blogs. He includes the comment:
I'm surprised [TBQ] doesn't have one already, or maybe she does but it's just private?.
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HAH HA!!!! Wee. Hoo. Heh heh heh.
Ahem.
Anyway, my throat continues to hurt, which is annoying in the extreme as it had started to feel better this weekend. As of this morning the left side feels sore and swollen no matter how recently I've taken Advil, which was my doc's suggestion for how to handle this. I mention this not just to bore you all with the details of my life in the blog I have which does not exist, but because some of you are vastly more informed medically than I, so I'm hoping somebody out there can tell me if this is a normal part of recovering from strep or if it's something I should be going back to the doctor for. B/c I could scoot over there on Wed with relative ease, assuming they can get an appointment for me.
Also I did my civic duty today. Long story short, I found out one of our patients was going to be away on Nov 2, so I informed her about the ease in which she could get an absentee ballot. She was quite happy to hear that she could get one sent to her in the mail, as she'd assumed it would require a trip downtown and she wasn't looking forward to the hassle, even though she still wanted to vote.
For the record I did all that without once asking her who she was planning on voting for. Then all on her own she mentioned she was voting for Kerry. So woo! Go me!
In final news, Kita is evil and is a peddler of addictive fic ideas. I'm sure this comes as a surprise to absolutely no one.
