thebratqueenOkay, as the work day moved on I started shivering and finding that the whole "standing" concept was a little too much to handle. Also the whole "blinking" concept or "moving my eyes" concept or "breathing" concept.
Boss sent me home early. I did a pit stop for chicken soup, cold meds, and OJ, and now I'm back.
Not that I feel up to actually heating up the soup, or trying to negotiate spoon to mouth, or even drinking a glass of water, but at least I'm back home.

ats_nolimits to alert people there as to when ep 2 goes live tonight, so keep your eyes peeled on the group. It's just as well anyway, since Wolf and mpoetess were the ones to write the ep, so if you love it be sure to tell them.
Now to change into comfy, heavy, warm clothes and ideally spend the rest of tonight in a coma.

ETA - just saw the comments to my last post, so editing here to reply in one fell swoop that so far I haven't been showing any signs of strep like a sore throat, which is why I haven't called a doctor yet. But if I don't feel any better by tomorrow, I will. I will also call in sick to work, promise!
