thebratqueenDay with family was fun, but LOUD. I once again have admiration for those who have to live with the under 5 set on a regular basis. All it took was eight hours for me to be ready to throw in the towel. Y'all have my blessing. Seriously.
Talked with Dad about the tax thing, as it was his accountant I used. Turns out it's a twisty-turny thing of deductions, as my parents and I jointly own my apartment. Last year it worked out better to put that deduction under my name, this year it worked out better to put it under his. However, Dad's going to spot me some of the resulting refund from that. So I'm not SOL after all, I'm just getting the refund I expected in different ways. That's cool then.

wesleysgirl is enabling in me has not yet died, which increases the likelihood that I may start posting parts of it in my LJ sometime this week. Still hammering out the outline, and the present vs past tense issues, but had an epiphany about it that I liked in terms of the outline setup so we step ever closer to me blatently indulging yet another of my kinks. Though hopefully in a slightly more serious manner than I'm doing with the indulge-o-rama that is Pet. We shall see.
