Note to patients: It is not my job to remember that your insurance runs out at the end of the year. It is not my job to inform you that, just like the rest of the year, we book up about two weeks in advance. Ergo theoretically if YOU have decided to slack off in YOUR health care it should not be MY problem to fix it. YOU should have taken it upon yourself to deal with this in a timely fashion.

But no, you don't. Which means that I have to come in on what is actually a HOLIDAY for me, complete with religious services and everything, so YOU can get your damn teeth taken care of.

Can you tell that I finally had to book someone for Christmas Eve? I had to book someone for Christmas Eve. A total fucking slacker who's not bothered to show up for appointments before with little to no notice but oh no! His insurance runs out and he needs a filling and it's gotta be NOW!
