Frontier House? Rocks
Apr. 30th, 2002 11:07 pmI so heart Frontier House. I think I've got a fondness for this and the 1900 House not only for the history but because for me these are far more "real" reality shows. You don't have anybody here trying to be a media whore for the camera. It's the actual families doing their actual thing.
Tonight's two eps were very cool. Nate? Couldn't be cuter. I'm going to be a total bitch though and say I don't see why he married Kristen. No offense to her but I don't see any chemistry between them. But who can say based on snippets of footage?
However - honey? Baking powder and baking soda? We still use those. You might want to stop by a grocery store sometime. It'll be fun.
I'm having fun trying to figure out who amongst the Glenns and the Clunes is the survival family. On the one hand you've got Mama Glenn who's a total bitch but she's very focused on getting things done which I suspect was a necessary personality trait back in those days. On the other hand you've got Papa Clune who is constantly rules lawyering and out and out breaking agreements - but then again if you were really doing life or death, wouldn't that also be a necessary or useful survival trait?
I'm going to be at a fanfic symposium tomorrow so I'll have to tape the final two eps, but I'm really interested to see how it turns out.
