Things I have learned today

Today I have learned:
1) No matter how much I might enjoy the finished product there is nothing more boring than watching candle wax melt.
2) SUV companies have now gone so far past the point of even trying to pretend that they're not evil that they are now doing TV commercials which suggest that if you don't buy the right SUV it will turn your infant son gay. [ETA: See comments for description of the commercial]
3) Fortune cookies exist only in an ironic definition of the term.
4) Contrary to what you might think, the answer to the question "What will ESPN2 never sink so low as to show?" is not, apparently, "Scrabble tournaments."
I feel I've grown as a person for knowing all this.
