thebratqueenTried to get my hands on the yummyness of the new gaysplosion Vanity Fair (It is Vanity Fair, right?) yesterday and was thwarted. Damn you Fate!!

Patrick Stewart is doing a play in NYC again? I wonder how hard it would be to score tickets for that for this weekend. Something tells me I could dragcin1607 along. Plus it would up my "Who wants to touch me?" cred which probably could use a refresher since A Christmas Carol was years ago.

Finally, much though we all snark on how stupidly thin actresses are, how sad is it that Debra Messing is so skinny that she's not healthy enough to be pregnant? Not that I'm that emotionally attached to Debra Messing's well-being, but even so for Hollywood she was considered normal. I guess what bugs me most of all is that it's just being reported matter of factly that oh yeah, she's got to be bedridden with an IV for months now while failing to add the fact that this was easily the world's most avoidable problem if the industry she worked in allowed her to be a lead actress while at the same time permitting her to eat a sandwich once in a while because if her body right now isn't healthy enough to sustain the life form of something that's the size of a pinhead chances are the rest of her body wasn't doing great shakes in the "enough body mass to survive" department either.
And the sad thing is that if she does gain weight during the pregnancy and actually scootches towards being healthy again, you just know people will be snarking about how fat she is. Take a look at how morons responded to Charisma's pregnancy as a case in point.
