Icons ahoy

Did you ever see that Dilbert cartoon where Wally hands a project to Pointy Haired Boss and PHB says "This is black and white. I wanted this to be in color" and Wally says "Technically black is a color - oh, I see." and the last panel is Dilbert talking to Wally and saying "So that satisfied his need to make one more pointless revision?" and Wally says "And I did it all while the color copies were already printing."
I have a color copies feeling about the 20 vs 50 icon thing. Not that I'm complaining about the end result but it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Brad and the gang already knew they could do 50 and were just waiting to do the first post about 20 so everyone could blow up, they get the initial "Wah! Change!" reaction out of the way, and boom there's now 50 icons and Brad and the gang look like the poo.
This is just my theory ;)
I reuploaded some old icons that I was forced to put into retirement (such as this one). I also added a few, like the animated Pet icon, that I hadn't been able to use for lack of space. wes_visions_rpg might possibly like it if I reuploaded the RPG related icons I took down (cough). Just gotta remember those keywords....
For thems who are interested, here's the pics I've got so far.
Now I'm pondering what other icons to have. It's so strange. I could even have - gasp - non fannish or political ones! Freaky!
This could possibly be enough to get me to get off my butt and hook up the scanner to my computer. There's one or two tarot card pictures I might not mind using.
Oh! And I need icons for 24. Mmm... Keifer.
In other news I've got this great picture of Sting that I've been dying to use as an icon for a while now (for those who have been to my house, it's the same picture of him that hangs in my living room. Yeah, that one.) but damn if I can get the proportions right and damn if I even know what to put on it. It strikes me as a picture that could use a phrase but I'm living a phrase-challenged livestyle. Anybody out there up to the blind challenge of making me an icon just based on a picture I give you?
