Health, RI, cats

thebratqueenAfter a few days now of headaches, tiredness and random achyness I've come to the conclusion that I've got to be fighting off a mild flu. Esp because I think I feel somewhat fevery. This would explain a lot.
Back at work, though, and essentially being paid to surf the net. I've got various worky things to do but I've already done most of them and I'm spacing out the rest for the sake of my sanity.
Newport was much fun. The drive was pretty, even with the rain, since the trees are starting to change. The city itself was purdy and oh am I stealing one of those mansions and putting it in Pet. I was standing in the grand hallway for one and couldn't hear the tour guide for the Angel/Wes/Spike conversation that was going on in my head. Won't be in the next part, though, as that's got other things I want to do.
I also had a kick-ass dinner before coming home. That's definitely a trip I can see myself doing again, though not in the summer when I'm told it's hellacious.
The cats continue to be fine. They've been getting ear drops to help with some inflammation that they apparently had and it's been amusing to me to grab them, dose them, then dump them on the floor whereupon they look at me all "What IS it with you and your freaky hobbies?" I expect Mac to try to find a way to gift me with a stamp collection at any time now.
Beyond that I've got no complaints. How's with you? =)
