thebratqueenI thought people would be interested in Marriage Protection Week.com. Just so it's clear, THIS is what Dubya is endorsing. These people came up with the week, then Dubya put his seal of approval on it and tried to pretend it was all about marriage education and the like. The thing is flat-out anti-gay.
Futher, note The Talking Points on Marriage which I shall probably be ripping to shreds later tonight. It's on a different domain but it's linked to from the MPW website as a good resource.
I actually found out about MPW based on the MPW website, which somebody out there in LJ land had linked to it. I didn't respond though because A) Surprisingly, there's no contact information on the MPW website and B) the groups supporting it are so radical that it's not worth arguing with them.
But now that Dubya has endorsed this assholery the joke's gone too far.
