zortified mentioned this in reply to another post, but I wanted to make this a new post for those who weren't following the discussion.
We've all been talking a lot about "if we were in charge of Angel" - has it come time for us to do a virtual season? I'll admit I've never done one before and I've only barely followed other virtual seasons in other fandoms (most of which never finished) but - do we want to give it a go? And if so, where would we change things?
My vote is on season 3. I know that means we'd have to accept the Pylea shit as canon but I think I'd enjoy the challenge of doing a season where we show how the crap from this season could have gone better. This would also give all you Fred-lovers a chance to show how the girl could have been useful to the cast if she was written properly.
It's us so I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's going to be slash ;)
But... who wants to join in? I'm thinking we can get a stable of good authors together (looks at her friends list and starts poking all the Angel/Buffy writers), plot out a season and then we each take a show or two?
I'm also not married to the "it has to redo season 3" thing - I'm just tossing out brainstorming ideas.
So - c'mon, help me brainstorm!
