So not looking forward to people freaking out about Wes not being used enough when this was a plot-demanded Spike centric ep.

Wes and Angel are still yummy.

Weird pacing. I'm holding judgement until the final version but there was more than one moment when I was wondering why we were taking so long.

Nice retconning on Spike's background. He was second only to Angelus? Guess Darla and Dru sat around and knit all day.

Awwww - the poor little raping murderer might end up going to Hell? Um - I care because why again? I'll reserve more comments about that for when the ep airs.

Ditto comments on Spike's coat.

Ho,Yay was cute.

Two - two - count 'em, two obvious shout-outs to me. I'm touched, honest.

All in all - could've sucked a lot worse than it did. I'd rate it a B.
